Portland
Last month I went to visit my best friend Nicole in Portland and while I provided pictures I did not deliver the specifics. I have several friends going up to Portland again very soon so I thought I would go over some of the places I visited on my trip .I am pretty sure I don’t review things well because I am not the best at writing and I also kind of speak in my own language so keep this in mind. Sorry in advance.
The first place Joel and Nicole took me to was Genies. A breakfast/brunch place near their house known for their bloody marys. Basil-chili pepper bloody mary loaded with pickled vegetables… sounds like a place Tara would like to hang out at all day. The breakfast potatoes were really good. I recommend coming here on a weekday though because I hear its really popular on the weekend and hard to get a table.

Mississippi Records – This record shop has a lot of obscure music you can’t find at other record stores. The owner is super nice and makes really good compilations. for the Mississippi mixes it’s $10 on vinyl and $3 for their tapes. There is also a cute coffee shop right next door to it. Mocha’s with pretty leaf designs in the foam. Don’t mind if I do! There is also a beer shop and a super cute nursery right by here too.
